is the difference between a hotel and a serviced apartment?
We
could define hotels to be ideal for short stays (less
than one month) and serviced apartments for medium to
long stays (more than one month) as rates are more affordable.
Hotels in Bangkok are really good customer-oriented hotels
with a full range of services and facilities. Service
apartments often propose good services such as maid service,
sport/leisure facilities and full-equipped rooms (Cable
TV, stereo, lobby, security guards etc
). It is often
worth full to check out serviced apartments daily rates
with special package for short stays.
How
do I find and book a serviced apartment with Bangkok-Apartment.com?
Bangkok-apartment.com
offers a large range of hotels and serviced apartments
located in Bangkok. Just follow the steps, and book the
hotel or apartment you like simply by filling in the booking
form.
After
I make my reservation, how long it takes to get a booking
information?
When
you make a booking with us, you will receive our Order
Acknowledgement after completing your booking process,
confirming that your order is now being process. Please
keep this information, which will indicate your Order
No., for your reference.
For serviced apartment reservations, the sales person
of each serviced apartments will contact and send you
the confirmation normally within 2 working days (not including
Sat, Sun & Thailand Public holidays).
For
hotel reservations, we will send you an email confirming
that we have received your reservation details. At the
same time we will process your reservation. Assuming availability,
a reservation is then made with your information confirming
your booking and your credit card payment will be settled
at this time as well. Upon confirmation (usually within
2 working days), we will send you a check-in voucher showing
booking details via an e-mail. This voucher can then be
presented upon check-in at the hotel.
If you do not receive any mails from us within 2 working
days after placing an order, please kindly contact us
immediately at booking@bangkok-apartment.com
What
if apartment that I selected is not available?
You
will be notified via e-mail (within 2 working days after
placing your order) and you will not be charged.
Also,
we will propose you another accommodation at comparable
standard and price. If our offer is acceptable, we will
process your reservation. In this case, your credit card
payment will not be settled until we get confirmation
from you.
Do
I need a credit card to make an apartment reservation?
Yes.
For serviced apartments, your credit card is required
as a room guarantee. However it depend on the policy of
each serviced apartment. Major credit cards (Visa, Master,
AMEX) are acceptable.
For
hotels, all bookings are on prepayment basis. For your
convenience, we offer credit card payment directly from
our web site. However, you will not be charged until we
get confirmation from your selected accommodation. We
accept payment by Visa, Master, JCB cards only.
When
will I be charged?
You
will be charged only if your selected hotel is available.
After receiving your order, we will check for room's availability.
If your selected accommodation is available, we will make
reservation and your credit card payment will be settled
on receipt by us of confirmation of availability from
the selected hotel.
Whose
name is the reservation made under?
The
accommodation's reservation is made under your name. You
can check-in with either an apartment check-in voucher
or your passport (showing the same name as when you fill
out our reservation form).
What
is the latest time that I can make a reservation?
For
reservation process, we advise you to make a reservation
at least 3-working days (not including Sat, Sun &
Thailand Public holidays) before the check-in date.
Are
your rates per room /apartment type or per person?
For
Service apartments and apartments, our rates are per type
of apartment and not per person (unless otherwise specified).
For hotels, Single rate is for 1 person per room and Twin
rate is for 2 persons per room (unless otherwise specified).
Is
there any fee using Bangkok-Apartment service?
There
is no charge to use Bangkok-Apartment.com for reserving
apartment. Fees only apply when you wish to use services
listed in the services section (airport pick up, car rental,
etc
)
Can
I make a reservation directly through the apartment?
The
special rates listed on Bangkok-Apartment.com are only
available through our service. If you would like to make
a reservation directly with the apartment you will need
to contact them directly.
What
is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation
is subject to the follow rate fees (For Hotels):
(a). If
we received your notification of cancellation within 7 working days (Excluding
Saturday, Sunday and Public holidays) or more prior to arrival date, there will
be no cancellation charge except for the processing fee of 4.00% Plus administration
fees of US$ 20.
(b). If we received your notification of cancellation LESS than 7 working days
(Excluding Saturday, Sunday and Public holidays) OR we do not received any cancellation
notification OR there is no show, prior to arrival date. We will charge by the
way of a cancellation fee a minimum of one night for late cancellation and non-arrivals
Plus the processing fee of 4.00% Plus administration fee of US$ 20.
This cancellation policy may apply as explained above.
Bangkok-Apartment.com reserves the rights to modify cancellation fees according
to different hotel policies and other factors that Bangkok-Apartment.com does
not control.
